Why sign in?

Most of Qwidgets works without an account. You can look up stocks, options, and event contracts, analyze and screen trades, and open shared workspaces as a guest.

A free account is for keeping things. Qwidgets needs somewhere to store what you build, and a way to know it’s yours when you come back, on this device or another one. That covers:

  • Workspaces you build, and copies of shared ones.
  • Favorite workspaces on the home page and in the left-hand menu.
  • Saved trades, searches, and screens.

As a guest, changes you make in the Guest Workspace or a shared workspace last only as long as the browser tab, and saving trades, searches, screens, and favorites needs an account.

Signing in is also the first step to connecting a brokerage or Kalshi account, because a connection belongs to your account. See Why connect a brokerage?.

Register in the top bar creates an account. Access and sign-in covers the ways to sign in.
